Hair Regrowth Pictures

There are dozens of hair regrowth pictures in the internet, all claiming to be the doing of a certain product. But manipulating pictures can now be done even by a 6 year old. So, when choosing the right hair growth treatment, never base your judgment solely on the before-and-after pictures you see. It’s best to stick with a reputable brand that has submitted its product to truthful and independent tests to prove its efficacy.

The hair is the crown and glory, so it’s understandable why most people are not so keen on losing it. That is why when the first sign of balding is seen, steps to stop or slow down this process are taken hoping that they will work.

Hair growth products are everywhere. They take many forms, be it tablet, spray, lotion, cream, oil, shampoo, or conditioner. The problem with these products is that only a handful of them really produce results. Most of the hair regrowth pictures posted in their respective websites and advertisements are nothing but hoax.

In choosing the right products, it’s important to go for a brand with a good track record. It must be made by a trustworthy company and the efficacy of the product must be proven by studies conducted by real researchers, not imaginary studies made up by the advertisers.

Hair Regrowth PicturesTake for example minoxidil. This drug is FDA-approved, which means it has a drug status. Most of the products sold in the market today use minoxidil as their active ingredient. However, the companies that make these products put too little of the stuff that really works, or claim to put a large quantity of it, but in reality, the solution is too diluted that in can no longer produce any positive effect.

Minoxidil works for people who are just starting to get bald. Unfortunately, it no longer has any effect for those who are already bald. It was originally taken as an antihypertensive medication but a side-effect, which is hair growth, was seen among hypertensive patients using it to control their blood pressure.

Since then, studies have been undertaken to explain how this side-effect takes place. However, up to this moment, no definitive rationalization can be given. The only thing researchers can say is that minoxidil, as a potassium channel agonist, contains the chemical makeup of nitric oxide (aka NO; commonly used by bodybuilders to pump up their muscles). Basing from the fact that it is related to nitric oxide in terms of chemical structure, it was assumed that minoxidil acted by activating a vasodilating enzyme called Guanylate cyclase. However, up to this day, no hard facts to support this claim have been established.

So, the next time you see hair regrowth pictures in some advertisement or website do not be fooled and carefully check the label of fast hair growth product if it catches your interest. Even among the ones that really work, you are still not guaranteed to get the results you want. Hence, when trying on one of these hair growth products, never set your expectations too high since disappointments are pretty common.
